The Asian Journal for Public Opinion Research (AJPOR) is the journal of the Asian Network for Public Opinion Research (ANPOR). AJPOR is published quarterly online in February, May, August, November. We are always open to new submissions. Both quantitative and qualitative research papers are welcome.

Indexing: AJPOR is indexed in Scopus and DOAJ.

Topics: Papers related to public opinion in or about any Asian country or countries can be considered. Topics may include, but are not limited to:
• Quality of life
• Political polling/elections
• Public opinion polling
• Media studies
• Public health related attitudes
• Perceptions of risks to societies
• Social networking
• Big data analysis
• Survey methodology
• Ethical issues related to public opinion research

Trending areas: Recently we have published multiple papers related to the following topics and are interested in including more from additional Asian countries:
• COVID-19 attitudes, behaviors, and related societal changes
• Environmental issues, attitudes, and “green” behaviors
• “Fake news” and its impact
• Political polarization
• Acceptance and effects of technological advances

Types of articles considered:
• Original research papers
• Research notes
• Poll reviews
• Book reviews
• Extended abstracts of papers previously published in another language

Publication Fee – Research paper or review paper: $250US up to 5000 words (including abstract, reference list, tables) + $25US for each additional 500 words. Research note: $200US up to 4000 words. Other types of articles are not charged a fee. Those in need of a partial or full publication fee waiver should contact AJPORSubmissions@gmail.com prior to submitting.

Submission guidelines – Author guidelines are available on our website (ajpor.org). AJPOR uses APA style. Research papers, review papers, and research notes should be submitted online using Scholastica. Proposals for book reviews, poll reviews, or extended abstracts should be sent to AJPORSubmissions@gmail.com.
